Shrink Wrap
SCA Pro-Tect Shrink Wrap is a modern thermo plastic film formulated with both linear and low density heat sensitive resins. When heated, the shrink wrap will shrink in excess of 40% of its surface dimension.
Our shrink film is manufactured to our specifications from virgin resins and fractional melt low density polyethylene resulting uniform bi-axial shrinking and super strength.
Pro-Tect's shrink films have been carefully formulated to perfect a superior shrink film that has set new standards in the shrink-wrap industry for its amazing strengths, durability, versatility and low maintenance.
We hold a minimum stock level of 45,000M2 of Shrink Wrap in our warehouse, with a further 45,000M2 at the manufacturers plant, available for immediate delivery.
Flame Resistance
SCA Pro-Tect Plastic's shrink films are formulated and manufactured to satisfy the flammability requirements of the British Standard BS 476: part 12: 1991, and have our products independently tested in the UK by BRE for The Loss Prevention Certification Board.
Strength / Load Tests
We have carried out independent tests on the strength and loading capacity of the SCA Pro-Tect Shrink Wrap sheeting, and have a detailed document confirming that SCA Pro-Tect Shrink Wrap Sheeting is capable of with standing an uniformly imposed loading of 2Kn/M2. Copies of the Load Test document available on request.
